In addition, Kohl has been used to handpaint the camel bone pieces which are decorated with traditional Berber tribal designs. These designs are representative of nature and also of the Sahara desert. Ornamental brass accentuates the camel bone and rosettes which are also handcrafted in brass, are features on this wonderful Mirror. The Mirror back has also been covered with camelskin leather. The Berber people being a tribal people made use of products found naturally in the desert regions of North Africa. This is why products have adornment of camel bone and leather, as it was a form of recycling. This is a vintage piece of home decor. The wear on this Mirror is also indicative of it's age.
