They are lightweight and breathable. The cotton and linen fabric has been hand-woven on traditional wooden looms, by skilled Marrakechi craftsmen. Produced in Marrakech, these cotton scarves have been hand loomed and also hand finished with skills passed from generation to  generation. They are also the perfect length to throw over your shoulders for use as a shawl when the sun goes down. As our products have been woven on old-style wooden looms, it ensures that each scarf is unique. The weave of each scarf depends on the style of loom used and also the style of the weaver. Marrakech and it's surrounding areas, have always had a rich tradition in weaving. Scarves have evolved with the times. In fact, they continue to be a popular accessory that also transcends different cultures, religions and even different climates. Our fringed cotton striped scarves woven in Morocco, can be worn all year around as a fashion accessory. When we look at the history of scarves in the 19th and 20th centuries, we see that the allure and power of scarves has always existed.
