This Hand woven blue and white cotton scarf, has been hand finished with a  frayed edge.  So very versatile, they can also be used as a shawl sarong or pareo. Produced by a family of weavers in Marrakech, with traditional skills passed to each successive generation.  This pretty handwoven cotton scarf is 100% cotton and has been woven on old-style wooden looms. Each handwoven scarf is unique, the weave is dependant on the type of loom used and on the weaver. When we look at the history of scarves in the 19th and 20th centuries, we see that the allure and power of scarves has always existed. The scarf is in fact the most simple form of adornment, a single piece of cloth. For this reason, it’s one of the most versatile clothing accessories. Scarves have been used for centuries across a variety of cultures, for a range of purposes.
